A bit unfair. I can think of 2 or 3 other decent Dexys songs.

Plus their last album - as Dexys - has more than a certain curiosity to it.

Plus good groups do not as a rule stand the test of time. They come, do summat good then fall out, die or go solo.

It's the ones that hang on doing it as a job that end up sounding gobbo.

Yup, she is 3. To be fair she's recently been demanding Nina Simone so it's getting progressively better

This is the full horror of Chu Chu TV. ..

My little one suddenly made a giant leap when nearly 4, discarding Humpty Dumpty and Ba Ba Black Sheep.for The Decemberists - so there's definitely hope!

To be fair one of my ex's taste in music was so bad that I'd have welcomed The Frog Song in her flat with open arms and ears.

Georgie loves all the Postcard Records stuff and the BMX Bandits and has taken a shining to First Aid Kit. Unfortunately her favourite song remains All About the Bass.

You're making a big mistake getting your children in to decent music when they're so young. When they hit their teens they'll want to rebel against you and everything you stand for. As you stand for good music, they'll turn to Justin Beiber or his 20s equivalent.

I have already accepted this reality but I'm planning on being senile by then with years of abusing my brain and body catching up with me so will happily join in with Rustin Bielieber or equivalent.
