    I wouldn't be overly excited by signing a 28 year-old who's never played at any decent level.

    Poet - if he's that good, why has no decent club signed him by now?

    At 28 he is very unlikely to improve and is likely to be a waste of whatever money he'd cost.

    Like D/T says, if he was 19-20 he'd be worth a shout.
