Hope To God Ricky can do it..... But only if he lays off the Greasy breakfasts and Guiness. Tszyu was an ageing fighter, I know you can onlt beat whats in front of you , but Hatton is moving up a couple of steps on the ladder for this fight. Mayweather is as good a fighter as there has been for several years now, the main thing in Hattons favour is that Mayweather has been fighting at several different weights. Trouble is when Hatton moved up 1 weight he looked a very ordinary fighter, yet Mayweather has still looked like a class act in every fight.
Mayweather Looks Class......... only when facing poor opponents. I didn't think he deserved to beat De Le Hoya. Hatton says he will fight this 147 pound fight at his normal 140 level. Could be wise for him to box at the weight he's known for.
RE: Mayweather Looks Class......... He is going to have to be at his best and then some more. I think he can do it , but he will have to put the work in at the Gym. Mayweather has made everyone look like a bad opponent, to be fair he doesnt like to come forwards and that sometimes makes for a bad fight.
Hatton took Collazo fight at short notice Didn't really want that fight at that weight apparantly but was persuaded to take it on the basis of becoming a two weight champion in front of the American audience in Las Vegas - really putting himself on the market for the big fights. Its the one fight Hatton has admitted he didn't get fully trained up for. I've mentioned it before, but I really think Floyd Mayweather starring in that American TV dancing contest in November could play a big part. Mayweather loves the limelight and I reckon he'll see the big lights on the screen more encouragin than the ones with "Undefeated - Mayweather V's Hatton". Big big test, but if anyone can beat this guy I think its Hatton
