How his last minute header went over the bar at Cardiff I don't know. Would he have been viewed differently if it had gone in for the winner?
Not by most on here I would guess mind.

problem with Reid was not his actual winning the ball but distribution. At championship level all he seemed to do was lump it up top where we had Nardiello, Richards, Hayes who weren't dominant in the air and just invited another attack from the opposition
Neither do I but he's not a championship centrehalf for all his efforts.
I liked him, he scored some goals and put in the odd very good performance (as did Kay) but there's no room for sentiment and they were both simply not good enough as first choice defenders for us to progress.
Souza is only marginally better on recent performances but last term was very consistant. Not good in parnership with a sluggish but classy Moore.

But that's a problem that still hasn't been solved. Foster, Kozluk, Moore Souza etc all hit the big boot straight up to the strikers whenever they get the chance
RE: problem with Reid was not his actual winning the ball maybe so but he least looked more comfortable than souza on the ball, dont no how people think souza is a ball playin centre half i've seen 10 year olds more comfortable on the ball.
and with theball on the deck Souza makes Brian O'Callaghan look like diego maradona the way he messes about with it instead of getting rid. Then there are the 10 or so goals at least per season that he gives away by diving in, either missing everything or bringing their player down. This has been a problem of his from the first month that he was signed. Good player in the air, crap on the floor which is why him and Moore are awful together.
