Difficult to give it to any of the outfield players, in which case Liam Roberts, who kept us in it midway through the first half with a great save from a shot by Taylor, down to his left, pushing it out for a corner

Yes, Cadden was very effective in the first half, beating his man and crossing well - with nobody on the end of it.

    Talk about stating the obvious.

Collins on taking Kane and McAtee off:
“We weren’t playing well. We had to make changes and those were the two players I wanted to bring on. I could have taken many people off... We took off those two lads because when you’re making subs you need to take someone off.

I stuck it to the end. Don't want to say too much but I would like to praise Lincoln. They were to a man, better, stronger, fitter and far, far, quicker than the players we have assembled with something like two-thirds more expenditure. They were also extremely well organised and had subs to bring on who were in the same mould.

On that showing, if they can keep injury free they would be a very good bet to be play-off winners imho. A triumph for Lincoln's quality over our quantity. (And surely the last hurrah for the 21st Century Maginot Line wearing our number 6 shirt).

I've commented elsewhere that Cole has been off the boil for a while, but scoring is not a problem. We've still scored 14 goals in the six games since Cole's last contribution.

I didn't want to comment at the time, and go all knee jerky and post something offensive etc. But I'm still disgusted with them now of course, that won't change.
The players have got to really own up here and take this on the chin, and hopefully come back fighting and wanting to make up for it.
We move on, and fingers crossed that we can hope for 6 points in these next few games.
