They took it well but to say there was nothing we could have done about it is way off.

It was shocking defensively, positionally all over the shop.

 

If Kane gets a 2nd yellow this game will he get a one match ban for the sending off or would he still get the 2 match ban?

 

His first touch has been terrible this half

 

looking more lively now but this slow slow build up just gives Lincoln all the time in the world to organise and shape. That then leads to less space forward and more sideways play. Try running at them directly, at pace, with support in triangles of proximity to the runner. We have ts speed up a lot.

 

Terrible first half TBH. We look devoid of ideas vs a very well organised defence. We have **** all to bring on to change the game. It will be down to what we have to get an equaliser & put some pressure on them. I'd take a point now, the way we are playing, we look knackered & their defence is so deep, there is no room for Cole, or McAtee to get a run on goal. I fear we are gonna lose this TBH & the others are going to make up points on us. Bugger.

Imho...been a lively match and I hope we keep playing our football, which has been better than of late.
That said We knew this would be very tough and you can see why they don't conceded many. Their keeper looks top notch.
Cole still looks out of sorts and needs a goal to regain his confidence. Cadden has the beating of their right back and McCart has been very good.
Keep the temp ...keep the passing going, keep banging on the door....probably going to need Cozzy's physicality.
As we kind of knew this would be our toughest test of late......just need a spark second half.
It looks like Iike one of those games we won't score in though....errrr imho
