Did I ever tell you about the time Stewart Barrowclough leathered a ball right in my face? I was only a nipper. Completely by accident of course, just a bit over-zealous in his clearance. A big 'Oooooohh' went up from the mesters behind me and my little national health glasses went flying, but didn't break. Stewart kept coming over to see if I was okay, even in the second half when he was on the other wing. He felt pretty bad about it.

No lasting damage, I don't think. I can laugh about it now, just about. :)

It's not what I'd go with, but it's summat I could see Danny going with.

If Jim isn't fit, I'd go with this:

    Steele
    Hunt Ramage Cranie Kennedy
    Dawson Woods
    Paddy Mellis Jennings
    COGba

Woods on the wing? Bit left field, that. :)

Which side does that Knockaert lad play on? He's their version of Paddy. Strange that the league leaders can carry him and often Paul Konchesky (as bad as TK at times).

Well, if no-one else has noticed that I've sneeked a 12th player in, there's no reason why the ref will.

Good to see you've gone for my 12 man formation. It's taking off.

I know! I just can't find a formation that would work with 11 men and our squad. With 12 we'd look great.

It's certainly the way forward. But they will probably allow the opposition to have 12 too. Killjoys.

JOB out if he's unfit and put Paddy in. Mellis out and Lawrence or Bobby in (if fit).

Get Dawson and A.N Other to win the ball, give it to Woods. Quick balls to the feet of Paddy and Jenno. COG to score a hat trick. Bob's your uncle, 3 points and out of the bottom 3.

In reality COG wide, Mellis annonymous and no legs in midfield. 3-0 away win.

Agree with that, although if Bobby was fit I'd go with him at right back, Hunt who I think is good going forward at right midfield and Paddy for Mellis to rip them apart through the middle.

Whoever starts I just hope that we can make the first 70 minutes like the last 20 on Saturday in terms of support.
