    I thought he just sang songs on stage till I saw him at Sheffield Arena. The set was pure theatre and the show was more like a West End production. RIP big man and thanks for the memories.

    I know you’re only joking, but the ‘that’ is the line before every chorus. E.g when he says he ‘won’t forget the way you feel right now’. I think he tried to explain it in numerous interviews.

    It’s still criminal that the female vocalist in that track was never properly credited.

    My favourite emotional rock anthem - Two Out of Three Ain't Bad.

    Took the album Bat Out of Hell to a party at a farmhouse in Ackworth in 1978. It was on all night. Hid it in a barn so it didn't get scratched and had a job finding it the next day.

    Meat Loaf was a rock colossus.
