Apparently the ‘world beating’ track and trace doesn’t work very well because of lack of broadband. See daily mail re: Labour manifesto on the broadband subject.
No, Boris promised us a track and trace by June 1st that would be ground breaking and the App would follow in a couple of weeks
Let's not beat about the bush - the only reason the Tories are in government is because of Brexit. It was even dubbed The Brexit Election during the coverage. And these flip flop voters only voted Tory due to the Brexit Issue - because they probably would have been embarrassed to vote for Farage's lot. They were so obsessed with Brexit that they overlooked the majority of the policies that the differing sides had to over. Corbyn was pushing another referendum, Johnson was GETTING BREXIT DONE. As for Sunak? He's the only one that has been able to explain the government's policies in a manner that people actually understand - he manages to successfully answer questions from journos without resorting to blathering on about nothing. Granted, that should be a pre-requisite to being an MP so it doesn't get him a gold star, but it's a start.
And why did you think this? And what then made you think that Mr Johnson was the right man for the job?
It reminds me of The Snake by Al Wilson. A woman takes in a dying snake and nurses it back to health, after which the snake bites her. When she asks why, the snake answers, it’s because I’m a snake! For snake substitute tory and for woman insert northern voter.
One day someone will answer me! how could Labour with any leader have won the election? with the Electorate split 50:50 on Brexit and traditional Labour voters split 65:35 (even if you don’t accept those Labour figures, just assuming 50:50 doesn’t change anything)? What could possibly have been a winning strategy? I think this is the 5th time I’ve asked this question in response to people blaming Corbyn for the election result (I’m not a fan of his BTW and he definitely could have done a better job for the party).
