I've not even had a pissing go at him ffs. All i've done is ask who called him a retard. If you don't like my posts, they are easily avoidable. You don't have to read everything on here. If you must know I think whoever called him a retard went too far and there was no need for such an offensive term.

This initial post wasn't just asking the question it's a thinly veiled dig about Rob using his column to defend himself. as you'll have seen further down the thread and to encourage others to jump on his band wagon of 'knowles out'.
I think its now becoming increasingly clear that DB3K is a rather sad and bitter little man.

 

regardless of what you THINK the intent was, the FACT is that dreamboy did NOT start the thread by having a go at Rob, he started it by asking who on here had called him a retard.

what you THINK and what actually happened are two totally different things.

 

And you can pipe down. You are just as bad as dreamboy in the Rob Knowles witch hunt. Go on go do his job for him. I'd like to see you try.

 

He has made some pretty bad errors, consistently.

You're obviously a mate of his and well done for sticking up for him but you're just going to have to accept that wedon't think he's good enough for the job and are concerned about the image the main site and match programmes project.I think anyone could do worse than to have you in their corner but, regardless of how long you keep this up,you're not going to change anyone's mind mate.

 

I wouldn't say that I am a freind of his, just that we've spoken several times.Wether or not he can do his job to me at this time is not my priority, the point I am trying to make is that several people on this forum some noteably more than others have taken it upon themselves to constantly pull down his work and pass off comments and make boasts about being able to do his job blindfolded when in all honesty the vast majority wouldn't know where to start nevermind finish along with the fact on several occassions now the main protagonist have been invited to attend a meeting at the club with Rob and has never done so along with those who also like to pass comment only appear to do so on a public forum where their viratol can be heard by the masses rather than having the balls and maturity to approach the people inside the club and offer their advice and assistance. None of these persons it would seem have done.
Yet they are quite happy to sit here behind their moniker and have a tantrum because he had a go back.
Simple thing is Windy, some people like nothing better than to stand on the soap box critising yet are the first to go into hiding when they get offered the chance to meet up with the person they have the agendas with.
I wouldn't mind spending a day with Rob to see how he does/doesnt do his job and see what constraints etc he may or may not be under I would find it interesting. I will also ask the question to his main protagonists and to see if, afterwards they still hold the same opinion and whether after meeting, spending the day with and learning from each other etc they still think his job involves tossing it off on the internet and proof reading the programme an hour before it goes to print.
But i doubt it will happen.

Pretty much exactly my point. I have never spoken to Rob and though there have been mistakes I dont see way certain individuals constantly have to have a go at him on here. My point was that if Dreamboy was not prepared to meet Rob personally then he really should stop commenting on him. I never said that he was taking the piss this time, just that its noticeable who started this thread.

supporter of other clubs have too read the review too, makes us look very shoddy.

 

I'm not sure he's got time to meet everyone who feel his mistakes are a bit embarrassing. Opinion on here for the most part seems to suggest the majority notice frequent mistakes and would like things to improve. I don't think anyone can give any constructive feedback other than 'stop making so many errors'. Whether these mistakes are down to his workload or other factors is not really open to speculation on here, but as consumers I think it's fair to point out when products we purchase are consistently of a poor standard. Have BFC never heard the saying 'the customer is always right'.

His use of his column to hit back at fans and constantly justify his role is unprofessional and a bit sad.

 

Do you think it's right that a letter sent to RK commenting on the content of the website should be used in the matchday programme and that correspondent's name etc be used in my opinion to belittle him ? </p>

For what it's worth, having been in RK's company and head him talk, I can honestly say I am totally ambivalent towards him. </p>

I reserve the right as a consumer and layabout to take the piss out of spelling errors, whoever's responsibility they may be.</p>

 

I think it's outrageous that someone outside PR, thinks they have a right to highlight errors in a product they buy. It's just bullying.
