But today is only the fourth game he's played in recent weeks, and in one of those he was arguably one of our better performers (Southend), in another was only put under any pressure when the manager switched the back four and Nyatanga had a shocker at left back (Walsall), and played 45 minutes against Fleetwood.

Not sure about his general performance today. Just know his name was linked with the goal, but even so sounds like a horrow show from the keeper rather than him being given the runaround by opposition attackers.

I've nowt against him, but against both Walsall and Fleetwood he was, imho, taken to the cleaners whenever he came up against an opponent with the ball on the ground and his only defence was to foul the player. I thought him in danger of being sent off in both games. That's just how I saw it.

Having said that, I think the vast majority of our players are massively overrated by the majority and we are in a position in the league table that reflects the talent of the squad. I also accept that no one agrees with me on that, but no one agreed with me in the summer when I warned of the folly of the recruitment strategy we adopted and predicted exactly how this season would pan out.
