The thing that gets me before even the verdict is announced in cases like this is the claim that "Harris admitted to a sexual relationship with his daughters friend but only after she was 18" . Oh, that's ok then..... what with you being a married man and the girl in question being the same age as his daughter.
It beggars belief that the mother and daughter stand by him.

Same with the girlfriend of that Sheff Utd toe-rag. Before he's even convicted of any charge he's admitted to having sex with someone barely conscious moments after his mate has finished with her. Yet she (the girlfriend) is fighting his case for him. Crazy.

The NSPCC have stated via twitter that 13 more people have come forward to them stating that they were abused by Rolf Harris as children. As with Savile and Stuart Hall, I'll be surprised if we'll ever know with any degree of certainty how many victims or who they are/were. What is clear is that the BBC was subverted into being a very very sick environment indeed. All these people had so much trusted access to children.

People are found guilty despite there being no witnesses and no forensic evidence because the jury having listened to the accuser and to the defendant come to a conclusion regarding guilt or innocence. The basis of their conclusion is usually bases on the demeanour of the accused when in court.

Or the details within the account of either party which support their account - such as letters, or when the defendant has been shown to be dishonest in testimony regarding whereabouts etc. Add to that if the victim has a very detailed and compelling account, corroborated in many small but decisive ways, and the defendant is evasive, dishonest, or reverts to his act (singing to the jury or drawing pictures for example) - you may see how a jury (instructed to find guilty only if there is no reasonable doubt) reach a unanimous decision.

If tbe accuser cant even name theyear it happened then i find it adtonishing that there isnt reasonable doubt as to anything else she femembers from that one brief public encounter
