Great performance was good at Cardiff aswell. We have a strong midfield with kane styles palmer and benson fighting for the two center positions but he's 1st player in there at minute for me.
I was paying special attention to Kitching today as he was the only player I’d not seen in the flesh play before(until the Burnley lad came on) - I thought he was absolutely outstanding, proper leader and hard shythousing display against some experienced players, can only get better and could be a huge find - he was my MOTM, I don’t know what they feed their centre half’s down in Forest Green but we should just automatically take their current centre half every couple of years. I wouldn’t play Anderson in front of him on that display. Palmer impressed me no end as well, but needs to get a bit fitter, the audacity of that turn was awesome.
He was the best player on the pitch whilst he was playing. Maybe Collins & Kitching surpassed him by the end I don’t know, there wasn’t a lot in it but as others have said he should be first name on the team sheet in central midfield. Styles, Benson & Kane ought to be battling for one spot alongside him.
He’d deffo pulled something and that’s why he was subbed. He looked to have done it when he that turn tbf.
