Rory Delap's throws - have we really got enough height to benefit?

How old was Neil Thompson when we signed him? Not a bad wing back.

 

Much rather have Delap in the tent spitting out than outside spitting in, if you catch my drift. Could have been a nightmare if he'd signed for one of our relegation rivals. We're bound to score goals from his throws.

 

Thompson was 32 when he signed for us in August 96. One of his legs was the size of Delap's torso.

We'll see how this goes.

 

Assuming he can still throw it - he's just back from a hernia operation.

A lot of Stokes goals from his throws came after the ball had been panic cleared but still in the area, so players lurking at 18 yards is whats called for I think

Daggers knocked shittu off the ball a few times too. He has got everything has daggers.

 

It's a strange signing, however he's played in the premier league for so long now, that he could be just the experienced head we need to keep us in this division.
