I actually know him really well as he’s been a neighbour of mine for 15 years. Great guy, lovely family I hope it works out for him.

I'm a bit of a passive fan these days (look out for the results, threaten to go down to Belle Vue and then never both).

When he played though I used to fairly regularly. Was delighted when he got the main gig.

    Saints to win it again.

Don’t sleep on Wigan for the CC.

if Fev don’t coast that league something is massively wrong. If they can get leilua to 50% of his ability and fit he’ll be unstoppable. Unfair someone with that much talent will be playing against semi pros at times.

Penrith will win NRL. My Souths should go OK if they can keep Latrell on the paddock and out of the dock.

Aus to win the WC. Like the look of Tonga, and Samoa will improve especially if they can persuade the likes of Luai to play for them.

Yeah other than Barnsley, Rugby League is my passion.

week tomorrow another Monday night game.

great that we’re on TV twice in a week but killed 2 potentially great attendances being Monday.

York v Fev still gonna be decent but we taken close to 2k there in past on Sunday afternoon. Leigh fans won’t be too happy to travel across on an evening either

Was pleasantly surprised to see over 3,000 on at Leigh yesterday, given last season's debacle, when crowds stayed below 2k when restrictions were lifted.

Comfortable win, but I don't think we'll have enough quality in the halves to challenge Fev next week.

SL on terrestrial tv for the first time ever this weekend on ch4.

be interesting to here what the viewing figures are.

Fev rovers v leigh game on Pemier sports Monday night had biggest audience of any sports channel with 91k viewers. not counting the thousands watching on IPTV :). Was a decent crowd of 4600 actually at the game.

Premier sports shows have been much better than sky who have got lazy with RL Lately . see what channel 4 production is like hopefully they can make it a success like Italian footy years ago.

World Cup ladies look out for Papua New Guinea. Their Captain is Elsie Albert. Elsie is one of my ex-students
Under her leadership PNG Orchids beat England for the first time, and they might just be in with a shout.
I will be there to cheer her on, in full Tarn/PNG tribal dress

Went to see Cas on Friday night at a packed Jungle. My God, they were bad.

Odd weekend watching them lose a game I thought they would win comfortably and then watching the Reds win a game I thought they’d lose comfortably. The joy of sport.

I thought cas was a banker and was shocked nearly as much as Reds winning . Up in Workington for Fev match attroucious conditions but held on for the win.

Extremely early I know but going to Magic Weekend in the Saturday this year. Reasonable ticket prices.

Brother-in-law is a massive Saints fan and it’s Cas. - Leeds. On the Saturday too.

I'm no Leeds fan - because they're Leeds - but fair play they put up a reight show yesterday playing 75% of the game a man short, and 10 minutes two short.

Great being able to watch so Much rugby without listening to sky guys bore the **** out of me talking ****** all way through.

Saints looked very good Thursday. I’d be worried if I was a wire fan struggled to beat Leeds who dominated for large parts of game despite playing with12men most of it.

ref completely spoiled game tonight giving leigh absolutely everything against Bradford. Bulls knackered in second half. Not impressed with leigh, on their dry pitch

Only seen the highlights, so can't really comment on the ref in the Leigh - Bradford game, but everything I've seen and read of reports still makes me think that Leigh will need a better stand off to have any chance of going up. Last night was just a typical full time vs part time game.
