I take it you You mean if they score direct from an indirect free kick. The law used to be that the kick is incomplete unless it has been touched/ played by by a colleague after the initial kick. If the kicker touches it a second time without it being touched by anyone else then it is incomplete
I don't think most of the officials do either - Given the performance of the 4th official on Saturday, when he allowed Bournemouth to make a substitute when Cahill had been sent off. The player had to be waved back by the ref and then the substitution could take place properly
The indirect free kick taker kicks the ball into his own goal without another player touching it. What does the referee do?
? not sure what you mean , I made a comment about a professional footballer & the rules , just curious to why you think he might not know the rules , or am I not allowed to take part in a discussion ?
Not sure why you are asking me that question ? but I always thought you could not score a goal direct from an indirect free kick & that it had to touch someone else before it entered the net for the goal to stand, but again I am not a professional who"s job it is to know .
Completely untrue. We signed 2 players after the 'deadline' in the summer. One last January too, and didn't sell anyone.
I made the post which was meaning that the number of games we are seeing possible targets having played is dropping around the 10-20 games played and that we shall be soon getting to the point of being linked with kids who dont even know the laws, but has others have put maybe older players dont too.
It's a corner. It's also a corner if it was a direct free kick. You cannot score an own goal from any free kick.
