Russia invades Ukraine

Many people are going to get killed and we have invaded countries in the past based on alot less evidence and just on suspision of having wmd. Like DWLC says if we do nothing we look weak and when do russia stop if we act not good outcome. Bad situation.

 

Interestingly, the company I work for took part in radiological surveys of the area around and within the Chernobyl plant last year. This included the deserted town, countryside but also within the power plant itself (on top of the now removed nuclear rods, inside the sarcophagus they've built around it, etc). After a week of surveys they found that the total load of radiation the surveyors were exposed to was the same as they'd have had after a 2 week holiday in Cornwall!!

 

If everyone refused to fight then there would be no wars.

Did many people at the time want us to go into iraq with bush? I remeber tony blair been under pressure not to follow over WMD that didnt exsist. Said it before if this was happening in the middle east we would be straight in but because its russia we will stand off.

 

Dont think boris would either, would putin? Possibly. The west is doing all it can not to interfere military wise. After seeing Russian planes on social media bombing near kiev and kids screaming it isnt nice. We have interfered when countries have shown alot less aggression than russia are towards ukraine.

 

We've also stood by and watched as countries get bombed (with our bombs) back to the stone age.

 

Exacly i didnt support that either we should have never gone into the middle east and russia shouldnt be doing this now no justification.

 

I was talking about Yemen really and I was just making the point that we've got previous form for standing idly by while a weaker country gets curb stomped by a more powerful neighbour.

David Kelly. He told the bbs that Alistair Campbell had made up claims about WMDs and then was found dead from suicide despite his fingerprints not being on the knife or the pill packets that he had taken
