    You do realise you’ve done nothing but lecture me there about nothing I’ve actually said?

    What have the Tories got to do with anything? Personally haven’t voted for them in my life. My point was just in life in general - you’ve taken a leap and linked it to the US and UK politics but I could have easily been talking about COVID, the vaccine, lockdowns, or even the owners of Barnsley FC.

    You’ve almost unintentionally supported what I was saying, to a degree. I haven’t asked you to accept any views, but just suggested that labelling people for one opinion when there’s so much variety of topics being discussed isn’t all that helpful to having decent discussion. It closes or straight away and that isn’t healthy. Especially when opinions you disagree might not be strong ones or as extreme as you’ve listed in your post.

    Anyway, Oakwell is colder in the shade, sunglasses aren’t needed, but a good performance is. You Reds x

    All I was doing loko was making the point that I and others find a defence of certain things unacceptable. It's not a pile on. It's a refusal to pander to viewpoints that we feel are outrageous. What your own personal feelings are isn't at issue though you have repeatedly equivocated about Trump over the years. That I put down to your desire to moderate as much as anything.
    Anyway, enjoy the game. I'm following it from the Cocora Valley in that there jungle. Where it's also fairly cold and dank. :)

    Germans to send 1000 anti tank missiles and 500 Stinger anti aircraft missiles to Ukraine. Let's hope they haven't left it too late.

    Even this isn’t particularly true though. I was happy to put my words out there and give examples of why people would be voting for him - but that was then spun into me being some massive fan boy. I was also happy to correct some inaccuracies. But I’ll critique, praise and defend in equal measure because that is actually allowed, despite what some may say.

    Oakwell was glorious. Superb performance and win wherever you watched it from. More of that please.

    Ukraine is such a vast country the Russians don't have the manpower to watch it all, if the Ukrainians go for IED's on every street corner it could balls the Russians up like it did to western forces in Iraq.

    I'm not sure they're mates based on what I've been reading this morning. But he's not stupid either. I think RA knows to stay out of Putin's way or not get involved.

    Without getting into the morals of the whole situation, this is an excellent video on the strategic/military reasons for invading. Definitely fills in a few blanks.

    I did have a soft spot for Rory Stewart when it was getting close to #AnyoneButBoris. Remember getting pelters for that at the time as well!
