I'm not really interested in whether he's trolling or not. What is absolutely clear though is nobody wants him on here and something should be done about it. What he's posting is disgusting.

No you don't. You really, really don't. You repeat some ridiculous theory that someone has concocted on whatever website you read. Something without research, without evidence, without logic or reason, without any fact to back it up, without any frame of reference, without any due diligence, without any modicum of intelligence in the original author you're repeating or in yourself for repeating it. It shames us all.

Very close to hitting the ban button over this - either this is pure trolling or in such poor taste its offensive, or you are really not very bright which is it?
    just a couple of points
Putin is not acting like a devout Christian in any remote definition of the the phrase
If Putin is the good guy and we are being misled by the BBC can you explain in your alternative reality what they are saying which is untrue
are they faking videos or the Ukranian President. Are Ukranian you tubers in on the conspiracy and if so why

There are hundreds of reasons why Putin is the bad guy here forcibly invading and independant nation with a functioning democracy clearly against the wishes of the population is not possible to justify no matter how badlly you think the USA and NATO countries are behaving

Let's not ban him. Let's buy him a ticket for Ukraine. I'll put 25 quid in. Let's send him to Mariupol and he can explain to the residents how Putin is the good guy. Push comes to shove, I'll drag him there myself.

Agreed Super Tyke, the numbskull is the first person I've ever blocked on here, and tbh it's a breath of fresh air to not be seeing that offensive s**t, and offensive and immoral it is.

    https://www.rt.com/russia/551374-ukraine-biological-warfare-labs/

Just for the record... I am very anti-war. Any life lost to war is one too many as far as I'm concerned and I certainly don't find anything about this conflict funny in the slightest. I am not condoning anything that Putin has done but at the same time I believe that history will show there was a specific motive behind his actions that our media would rather not address.

Whether or not, defending his own country against the perceived threat of a US bio-warfare attack is sufficient justification for invading Ukraine is a question each person will have their own personal opinion upon. It boils down to whether or not you feel there are any circumstances under which you consider war has reasonable grounds and whether the loss of lives can be justifiable if it prevents the loss of other lives. Personally, I don't think there is a black and white answer to that but if an international enemy of Britain was funding bioweapons on our doorstep and my family and friends were at risk I would reluctantly support military action to eradicate the threat.

Are there 11 US funded bioweapon labs in Ukraine on the Russian border? Evidence I have seen suggests there probably are/were but that doesn't matter either way. What does matter is that Putin believes there are and that they posed a significant threat to the nation he is responsible for protecting. Ultimately, he will have to show that evidence to the international community which will judge his actions on the evidence or lack thereof.

    1. If Ukraine had bio weapons factories on the Russian border, why haven't the Ukrainians used those weapons to repel the illegal invasion of their country?
    2. Why would the US fund bio weapons labs close to the Russian border, in an area of the world that has been unstable for years, where their presence could be easily identified and made public?
    3. Why would Putin spend an hour banging on about Ukraine not being a real country if his motivation was solely to defend Russia?
    4. Why have you chosen to ignore Russia did carry out a bio weapon attack in this country?

You need to **** off back to 4chan.

    1. Perhaps because that would be a serious war crime and because you can't really release anthrax and hope that it would only kill Russian troops and ignore Ukrainian civilians.
    2. Because Ukraine is arguably the most corrupt nation in Europe where the politicians are easily bought (Have you seen Zelenskyy's multi million dollar property in the Florida Keys? It's very nice) . This is also the reason why the sons of four leading US politicians hold highly lucrative directorships on the boards of Ukrainian energy companies. Also, because presumably it is easier for the US military industrial complex to dabble in dubious bioweapon research outside of the US where the regulations are a little more relaxed.
    3. Is your Russian that good? Sadly mine isn't. I suspect you only know what is reported by the BBC and unfortunately they will only report the bits they want you to hear. Besides, I didn't say that the bioweapon labs were his only motive for invading, just that they were one of the reasons he has cited. Another reason he has put forward is the existence of US trained neo-Nazi militias in Ukraine.

    4. In this country. When did Russia launch a bioweapon attack against Britain? I must have slept through that. Oh you mean the Novichok... I'm not supportive of that in the slightest but a targeted attack is arguably preferential to an indescriminate bacterial weapon that spreads from person to person.

I'm aware of what 4chan is but it's not something I've ever visited. If you have, would you recommend it?

Is your Russian that good too Churton or do you rely on the BBC to paraphrase bits of things he has said?

And well done on finding an article that disputes the existence of the labs. That completely clears that up then. Like I said before though... The burden of proof on that front lies with Putin and he claims he has the evidence. Time will tell if he does or not.

My Russian is fluent. The BBC translations of Putin's nonsensical rants have been completely accurate. Not a peep about bio-labs, even in the pro-Kremlin press. Nothing. Ничего. Ни одного слова.

This thread has been brilliant over the last few weeks - some very fair debate and a good source of info.

If admin aren't banning this person, can we all just ignore him please? The last 3 pages are just responses to his drivel - which is undermining the seriousness of the situation.

Don't let it be clogged up with rubbish.

Completely agree. There has been some excellent debate and knowledge shared on a very serious issue with no animosity between posters. This troll is going to ruin it for us.

To enforce a no fly zone you'd have to shoot down Russian planes, which would be a declaration of war.

The same way you believed that Trump would now be president and Biden would be in prison?
