The answer is obvious, disguise American planes with Chinese markings and then bomb. the **** out of Russia! Tactics courtesy of a recent speech by ‘The Donald’
I really hate when people use someone's faith as proof of their virtue. It's utter nonsense, religion has been used to excuse murder, racism, sexism and slavery to name a few. If someone tells me they are a devout follower of any religion I don't see it as a positive on their character but a potential negative. Faith is the denial of observation so that Belief can be preserved, this is not the thinking of a rational mind.
Deeds not just words are important when using faith as an argument I dont think too many would point to Mother Teresa of Calcutta and say her faith and actions were not linked and she was a good person - same goes for Desmond Tutu or Oscar Ramero and countless lesser known people. But on the other hand there are far far to many examples of people claiming faith and acting in ways that dont add up. You dont need to look far to find them even amongst our MP's.
So according to you then, Putin is a "devout christian", who doesn't follow one of the most stringent rules of his own faith? That kind of means your religious point doesn't enter into it at all. Not that it ever did, since anyone can put in a show of being any religion they like, and many politicians do.
I just tend to think people of faith who are good people would be good people anyway regardless of faith.
"Nothing", "Not a peep", "Ни одного слова", right? Is this not the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Labrov (below) and is he not talking about US-funded bio-labs in Ukraine and the development of deadly weaponised pathogens? It certainly looks like him to me based on his Wikipedia page. I might suggest you need to be a little more observant дерьмовая голова. Just because you haven't personally seen or heard something doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Or perhaps the things below are purely figments of my imagination? I would also argue that putting yourself forward as the bulletin board authority on Russian foreign and military policy on the grounds that you live in Russia and speak Russian is no different to me claiming to be the British equivalent just because I live in England and speak English. People can argue until the cows come home about the morality of war and whether or not particular motives for invasion are justifiable. Everyone on here will have their own personal opinions on that. What you can't do, however, is argue that the existence of biolabs has not been cited by the Russian Government as one of the reasons for invading Ukraine, unless of course you can prove beyond doubt that the video and newspaper article below are fake. Anyone who believes that the invasion of Iraq by America and Britain and the subsequent killing of many Iraqi civilians was justified due to the perceived threat of 'WMDs' in a country thousands of miles away would presumably have to concede that Russia making similar moves to eradicate a threat right on its national border is similarly justified. Personally, I am very much against war unless it is absolutely the last resort and I was against the Iraq War at the time, and even more so when it became apparent that the existence of WMDs was fabricated (or at best exaggerated). https://publish.twitter.com/?query=...pdate/status/1500593009620099074&widget=Tweet https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sergey_Lavrov Is Russia Times not a legitimate Russian media outlet, pro-Kremlin or otherwise? https://www.rt.com/russia/551374-ukraine-biological-warfare-labs/ Может, я тоже немного по-русски напишу? Или хотя бы использовать гугл-переводчик.
So despite the most extreme circumstances, Ukraine hasn't used them? Despite the opportunity to drop them on the Russian troops massed on the border they chose not to, out of respect for life or because it would be a war crime? How can you be defending yourself from a weapon an enemy would never use? Not entirely sure why Putin feels a war is justified, or why sick individuals like you would justify it on his behalf. Strange how your thoughts and opinions don't stand up to even the most basic logical scrutiny.
Then why didn’t the Russians cite this to the UN and have UN inspectors as the UK and others did ? They didn’t cite this until after they invaded which smacks of desperation and lies and didn’t go through the proper channels . You’re defending the indefensible and doubling down when facts are presented to you . Even the Chinese don’t believe there’s Chemical weapons hidden or even asked fir verification . If they’d stated before the invasion all these ghost stories and gone through the proper channels then maybe they might have been believed but they haven’t and the bottom line is they’ve illegally invaded a sovereign nation without , proof, foundation or justification , you can make up all the excuses and what ifs that you want but none of it relates to the evidence whatsoever , None of the Russians objectives have been to look for these plants or to take these plants because they know full well they’re aren’t any the only objective they have is to pulverise cities which they are doing with war criminal effect .
If they were on the border then they'd have found them by now, as they've crossed about every border in Ukraine. Why didn't they speak about these labs before the invasion? You are listening to one of the worlds greatest propaganda machines and believing it. We have similar propaganda in the UK however we have a free press so you will always be able to find balance, even if it is weighted towards the right these days. In Russia you aren't allowed to speak out against the government and particularly Putin, so propaganda is fed to the masses every day. They can say what they want unopposed. If you cannot see that then you are absolutely blind.
It's the other way round on this one. This started on a stupid conspiracy theorists website, the Russian misinformation machine got hold of it and ran with it as justification for the invasion. So it's even worse, miles worse, than it appears. Idiots like this guy are inventing and spreading nonsense that provides the propaganda for corrupt governments. They're actually doing their job for them.
For what its worth as well, I think the West and the UK have acted appalling for the last 80 years. We have done what Russia are doing now to countless countries and blown them to bits under false pretences. I think our Governments foreign policy for decades has been catastrophic. Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Libya, Korea etc. Most of these wars under the guise of democracy but far more likely to be oil expeditions. We are just as bad over recent history than what Russia is doing now, although I would hope we wouldn't have purposely targeted civilians. It was interesting the other week when the press were talking about the thermobaric bomb that sucks the air out of peoples lungs and that they were the most horrific bombs on the battlefield. How could Putin be so cruel to use them? Awful. Only when you read about them, the US army used them in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The behaviour of the US in the last 100 years or so is a disgrace for a country claiming to be the beacon of democracy. Assassinations, overthrow of freely elected governments, support of brutal regimes. It's appalling. Prior to the US assuming super power status we were similarly as bad. Within both countries at least there is the idea and the aspiration from certain quarters for decency, freedom and democracy. Powers like Russia have no such mitigating factors. At least not from anyone anywhere near authority.
The US also used cluster bombs and white phosphorus weapons during the assault on Fallujah. Both banned. Red Cross said there were 800 dead civilians in that assault alone.
Whilst I wouldn't claim to be an authority by any stretch of the imagination, I'd say that living in Russia for 17 years, speaking the language, and having relatives in Ukraine, puts me at a distinct advantage in the "knowing what I'm talking about" stakes, compared with the average bloke on the streets in England.
