Re: The big difference here is It seems as though the state are trying to get to grips with it but they won't get this particular genie back in the bottle, certainly not before the world cup. They are ultra violent, skilled and organised fighters and you're right that you'd need to be mad to travel there, especially as a group of blokes. Heaven help any groups going there looking for trouble.

The programme was a real shame. As has been said above, it was a re-run of a show before the Euro tourney in Ukraine with a very small amount of footage repeated twenty times from Marseille. A handful of pathetic "hooligans" being lorded by the BBC. Sensational rubbish in my view. What happened in Marseille was misrepresented. It was actually far worse. The Russians were greater in number and made repeated attacks helped by totally inept and cowardly policing. Even more appalling were the attacks in the stadium by the Russians. How could the authorities let that happen after what had taken place in the port earlier? By the way, I've said before that there is no need for any fan to get mixed up in the trouble if they just be sensible and move away from the large mass of drinking England fans. Don't know what Russia in 2018 will be like but I'm not bothered because I won't be there. Been to quite a few tournaments including Ukraine but I don't think Russia should be hosting for many reasons.
They're not Russians though. They haven't got massive chests, stick legs and enormous fat bellies. Russian gyms must just have 40 pectoral fly machines, 40 chest presses and no cardio machines in them so that they can all acquire that unique Russian shape that they all love.
Cardio machines are considered a bit gay. Which is a bit odd, as figure skating has to be one of the most camp sports on the whole planet, and the Russian men have excelled at it for years.
