For some reason I thought you were going to say Sturrock. I think 14 players was about the norm in those days whereas nowadays most teams use 14 in one match. I would say most 12-13 year olds these days have never heard of IFK Gothenburg so would have no idea they reached a major european final. Against someone from Scotland of all places!
I would possibly have watched him had I known he even existed. Had never heard of him. Just read wiki and their description was not very encouraging. Wasn't trying to put anyone down.
Conan I would say most 12/13 year olds are not interested in clubs like Barnsley. Preferring to support Chelsea, Man C, Man U because they see them all the time on telly. Possibly they will never see them but they will grow up to be plastic fans lost to the game.
Bit harsh. Everyone likes a winner and they just want to follow winning side. We have the same problem here with lots of little and not so little shits wandering about with rangers and Celtic tops on. Care in the community.
