Ryan Williams - I don't get it

Not a threat on the ball, really?
Carries the ball / game to the opposition, puts defenders in awkward positions, gets in good positions and does same intelligently.
Also thought he was a good link between midfield and strikers.
All imho tho.

 

I liked him. Worked hard, did a good job with the ball and added some creativity when it was lacking in our team. I think he would be a very very good player at this level. Who are the alternatives that you would suggest?

 

I enjoyed the dynamism and urgency he brought to the team and think he would be a great signing.

 

Yea good call for me too at this level.
We don't have anyone in the team who can bring "that" game to our team, would be a fantastic addition errr if we are after him.

 

Both he, and then O'Sullivan, made us worth watching.

Without any drive forward we were excruciating to watch.

The lad could run with the ball but when he got near the box struggled with a final ball. O sullivan was far better and unfortunately no doubt will be staying at Blackburn. I would hope if Williams comes Lee can coach him when to release the ball thought he lacked end product, another player with a good engine though but where is the quality. We are still light up front. I really would like us to sign another striker or two. If we have a couple of injuries we will struggle for goals.

His final ball was poor.

Not against the signing at all but it's quite interesting that some people said they would't have Devante Cole back but this guy is a great signing because he runs at players?

 

For the record I like Williams work rate and ability to carry the ball. I would also have Cole back
