LJ has said it several times in interviews. His injury was a groin strain which he recovered from, the extensive delay to his return is something else and nobody really knows what but it is not injury.

No because he's not injured and hasn't been for several weeks. I agree with your point though, I think it's got to the stage where LJ has to force the issue with Ryan, one way or another.

Not sure that I agree with forcing Williams to play but I do have to say that the team with no loans in looks promising. I knew which players I thought were rubbish and which ones I wanted to get more game time but somehow my mind hadn't made the connection that the players I wanted playing were all our own. (Maybe because there's been so many loans I can't even remember who belongs to us and who doesn't anymore).

Forcing Williams to play is assuming he has no actual mental illness. If he has then he needs signing off long term sick to get the help that he needs, if he simply doesn't feel ready to play or doesn't want to then he needs reminding that he is paid handsomely and told to do his job.

It's strange isn't it that we have loaned 8 players this season and yet our most promising players (at least in my opinion) doesn't include a single one of them

I quite like the look of Isgrove from what I've seen of him but other than him (and Pearson at times but I still don't like his because of his bad attitude), I don't reckon much to any of them. If we wanted a cheap option, surely only playing our own players would have been cheaper - and more beneficial in the long run.

Yes I agree Isgrove looks OK and Pearson at times doesn't look aweful though even at his best I don't think he looks any better than a myriad of young players who have played his position before him but like you I don't understand how borrowing other people's players is any more beneficial or cheaper than playing our own young players who are equally as inexperienced

Really? From the (cart)horse's own mouth, LJ does weeks and months of research on every transfer target. He has also said he wanted to sign him for Oldham before Danny nipped in last year.
