Can’t be sacking him, not at this stage given our league position, we did pick up recently, a couple of wins from behind, but the big concern is the entertainment factor, it’s just not there, & Oakwell is as bleak & depressing as it’s ever been!
Collins deserves at least beyond the transfer window, hopefully we can add some exciting players to the squad to give the side a boost.

 

If this team was to get promoted we'd need some quality injecting if we were to stand any chance of not coming straight back down. I'm not sure our owners have got access to the sort of funds we'd require for that kind of shoring up.

 

100% agree just making the point because he has already been labelled as boring and useless it is guaranteed to come back irrelevant of circumstances.

 

I think people without ability think some jobs must be simple, anyone can do it surely.

So they think that simply sacking and getting someone new in is the solution.

They don’t have ability themselves, so they don’t understand how to be good, that it can take time, lots of hard work, trying and failing.

 

And this ridiculous thread gets another run out, because he's made some bad decisions that haven't worked out in today's match.
I can't argue with some of the comments about the negative football at times, the poor home form, some of the players are getting worse not better, and even his boring personality (although that's totally irrelevant).
Its where we are though in the league at the moment that counts, and he is doing much better than I thought he would with this squad.
As a result, I think he deserves much more support than he's getting.
