Why? I'd suggest they're anything but. You're suggesting that everyone involved at the club isn't trying to fulfil the goals you yourself outlined, which is frankly ridiculous. This would imply there's some major conspiracy to send us down - bet they're all rubbing their hands and having a sing-song on the coach home; their cunning plan seems to be paying off. What next? Flog the ground to a property developer and piss away the proceeds?? Maybe you've stumbled on summat!!
Dense.

SORRY, BUT JUST TO REMIND YOU........... The Board has said repeatedly that money IS available. Don't whitewash the scenario please!
They do. But it's very easy to say money's available. Our lack of success in getting anyone at all interested suggests that whatever the money is, it ain't enough.
RE: are you serious Russ ? You and I know that the change will be at coaching level, I would agree that, there is a problem at board room level as well, but we can only guess as to what these problems are, at playing level, it's obvious to all and sundry Ritchie's team selections, tactics, and substitutions are mind boggling to say the least, if we lose on Saturday to a very poor Leeds team, then surely the axe must fall.
RE: SORRY, BUT JUST TO REMIND YOU........... yes but how much ? I can make a fiver available, nice headline. All I want to know is whether to criticism of AR is justified.
RE: are you serious Russ ? fair enough, I'd just like to know the full picture before we start another round of managerial musical chairs.

Sorry, but just to remind you... Ritchie has also identified players he would like to sign. Someone, either the board or Ritchie, is telling porkies and we on here - despite claims of "good sources" - are very unlikely to ever know which side is telling 'em... If you're going to call for a manager's head based solely on hearsay and conjecture then so be it but what will you do if it turns out to be the board who're lying?
I'm not suggesting anything of the sort............ but would you not agree, that being bottom of the table patently suggests things have gone awry, and that the lack creative dealing in the loan/transfer market, along with dismal results, baffling team selections and tactics, I would contend that Ritchie has in some way contributed to at least 90% of our predicament. Cast your mind back to the home game against Wolves, that first half was magical, what has happened since, he obviously dislikes Nardiello, and prefers Wright, that in it's self beggars belief, we obviously could argue this point all day every day and get no where, but if you diagree, do it in a grown up manner, put your argument forward with thought.
Was there not a player we were interested in Who went to Southend instead. Reading into that, I would say that, if Southend can offer a more attractive package to said player than we can, when they pull 5k crowds and play in a shithole then the 'money' that GS is saying is available is not a lot. At the end of the day, AR is only likely to sign players who will actually improve the squad 'cos he knows that his funds are limited and he has to get it right. And the money, whilst being enough the sign SOMEONE, is not enough to sign someone who will improve the squad.
RE: I'm not suggesting anything of the sort............ What's not grown up about the way I put across my views?!?! What do you want?? Abuse? Txt spk?? It's an admirable stand to make, looking for considered views, but you've picked the wrong target.
IDIOT
IDIOT!
and same goes to the rest of you lot who want ritchie out.

RE: IDIOT Hey, nice reasoning, whats your answer to being 2nd bottom, or is it ok with you? The guy has lost it big time, players not fit enough to play 90 mins, perhaps we can ask for special dispensation where our games are brought down to junior level of 80 mins.
RE: IDIOT its not ok to be 2nd bottom, im absolutely gutted that we are where we are in the table.
but sacking Ritchie is not the way forward. what can someone else do that Ritchie cant do???
he got us promoted, so he deserves a fair crack at the whip in this league.
we need new players in, everyone knows that. Ritchie is looking to strengthen, but theres no point in bringing in poorer players to the club is there.
just get a grip, support the team, manager and board.
it will be intresting to see what you are saying when we start winning again.

RE: IDIOT You seem a fairly clever chap, you can write and put your point across with a fair degree of eloquence, but look at the sequence of recent results, LLLDLLL, NOW, I'm not a betting man, but another couple of L's on the spin, and he's a gonner, that is football, results are paramount, all this talk of stability is fine and dandy, but you clearly cannot see that, we drop down to that pub league again and crowds drop by at least 25%, revenue is severely cut, little or no Television money, hospitality monies virtually gone, tell me, what players will we attract, and how many of our good players will stay, is that stability? This can be fixed, but it means spending money, would Ritchie spend that money wisely? with the exception of Howard and McIndoe, I have doubts.
RE: IDIOT No problems with any of his signings so far, so I have no concerns that he wouldn't spend it wisely.
baffling team selections?? elaborate please the problem -if there is one-is that the first eleven virtually picks itself-there needs to be a bit more competition for places
