    De Givigney yet again, ball-watching/lazy, never got goalside, got nowhere near old Gregory, barely made an effort to challenge. So reminiscent of so many from last season. The constant in our appalling defence.

    Thought Gregory was Earl's man. MDG made less mistakes than Earl and Roberts so far IMO.

    If you're willing to write off the season based on the first 45 minutes of the first game, you're a moron.

    Equally if we were winning 2-1 and you were willing to completely forget about last season and commend us for the title charge, you're also a moron.

    He’ll be the one to make way when Pines is fit you’d suspect. I rate him higher than Earl - though Earl being left footed will keep him in.

    Plenty of grumbles at the performance and fair enough.

    Haven’t seen any writing the team off though - have I missed anything? (Genuinely - I’m at the game, haven’t read it all).
