Honestly, no one at any time has said a word to me, my son, or the friends who sit around me. None of us knew whether it applied to us or not.
I've just reread this year's renewal notice and although Flatman refers to the "project being completed in the Norman Rimmington Stand" there is nothing to indicate exactly where it was going.

My thoughts exactly. I'm in the lower area where most people stand regardless, and have done for years with the club's complicit acceptance. But I'm 73 now, with diabetes and arthritic knees, so I can't stand for long periods whether I want to or not.
In our block, if safe standing in accordance with the regulations above had been installed, it would have been a big improvement on the current situation. But as it appears to have been implemented there is no way people will be able to sit without their view being obstructed by standers. It hasn't been the case for nigh on 30 years and simply sticking a barrier in front of our existing seats won't achieve the promised standard.

    • Steward training: Stewards must be properly trained to manage the standing areas and enforce regulations.
    Guessing that ain't happening either.

Great news. Even better that it applies to the away end as well. Finally moving into the 21 century. Well done the Club.
