RE: Are you on the board then? nt Taylor report was misinterpreted imo, although, safe standing would be practically impossible in the ponty as it is too steep and would be a very expensive job, i think that it should be in the un-used side of the west stand, as the banking is perfect, its empty (no fuss with season ticket holders) and its quite a large area. Also, have you recieved my email?
yes, then maybe at half time....... All the People in the standing area will sit down, while people in the seats stand up. i can never understand why people stand up and have a cal at half time. can they not talk sat down
RE: Cardiff Standing prices Standing prices at Cardiff are £22 for Grange End Terrace (same end as away fans) & £16.50 Bob Bank Terrace (terrace that runs the length of the pitch). These are "in advance" ticket prices, match day is higher. We were given special dispensation because we were applying to build a new ground. This dispensation elapsed due to Sam Hammam not progressing with the development & had to be re-applied for at the start of last season. We were then given 3 another years because of the stage we were at. Groundworks started in March this year and the actual build in April. It's due to be complete in April next year in readiness for next season.
Personally i like the idea....what about: Thought for years that we could add a terrace in the area between the Ponty and the West stand in the corner if ever possible. It's away from away fans, the Ponty or west stand (or both) could be linked so it had access to their facilities. Even one or two turnstiles in the west stand could become dedicated for it's use. The atmos would be good as it's almost behind the goal. The area is wasted at this current time and would be an ideal size (1000/1500ish?) Saves converting an area already in use at considerable cost and if it was empty so what, it would be no worse than it is now.
RE: Personally i like the idea....what about: Not sure about that one, because its on a corner with two stands either side peoples views would be obstucted so much, because of the stands.
