Sam Matterface, top commentary

There is a guy who is doing some ITV commentary called Steve Banyard.

In my early 20s i toyed with the idea of getting in to radio sports work. I wrote to Steve who then worked for Radio Hallam (very early 90s when Hallam covered local sport on a Saturday as well as Radio Sheffield).

He wrote back and invited me in to experience a Saturday afternoon of radio sports production and presenting in tje studio.

Really nice fella who has done very well for himself.
