But people are too busy talking about ownership vs non-ownership of cocks and fannies. That’s the hill people want to die on. The establishment elite are laughing at us, the culture war is working perfectly.[/QUOTE] That reminds me of a Steel Panther song Community Property
Live and let live. If someone wants to be called something accept that. It doesn’t hurt you in any way. Just be respectful and treat others the way you’d like to be treated.

My honest opinion is that whatever anyone wants to identify as or be seen as is their business as long as they don't harm or in any way impose that view on others. The issue comes when an equally forceful and opposite opinion says no ( if your a male I'll call you he/him) if equality is the focus then that opinion has as much weight as the original request and indeed some may claim that they feel uncomfortable and awkward in adopting the alternative view ( ye I do kno someone who would). but much as many my age who were teens in the 70's will tell you the attitude change towards the gay community from then to now is unmeasurable so maybe its all a question of time to reach acceptance.
I think that people who choose to stay single are most oppressed, lad I know lives with his mum , never been in relationship, amount of folk who put labels on him is unreal
