    Oh I agree with you. There is a happy medium somewhere but in example illustrates my point - a complete lack of movement.

    I definitely agree that Gerrard is better in an attacking position and the failure to use him in this position has been England's failure over the last decade IMO. But I reckon as he gets older he will play more and more as a defensive midfielder and is better than Parker at doing so. I reckon Wilshire will play a bit further forward. Although I have to admit I've forgotton what he looks like, let alone how he plays!
