Scabs......

scabs arnt forgotten in west yorkshire either,i worked with stacks of ex castleford miners,from pits like Wheldale,Fryston.Allerton Bywater etc,these pits were solid in the strike and their men hate scabs with a passion.I use a facebook page called Yorkshire mining appreciation,it's run by ex west yorkshire area miners and the hatred on there towards scabs is as strong now as it was thirty years ago.

 

My dad worked down pit from leaving school to 1990 over twenty years when he took me to games when I was younger against notts teams he would shout it but couldnt understand all the 15/16 year olds giving em it. Each to there own I think on this one.
