The last part is what he needs to work on. You have to become a different beast when the game starts.

Winnall would definitely get in before schmidt, vic or miller for me and I think winnall has had his day now. Saying that i think I'd pick tom bradshaw, danny rose, jordan Clark before them aswell and probley bruce dyer and he is knocking on abit now. Bar woodrow we are very thin upfront.

Got the Watford programme delivered today. Schmidt has his interview in it.

Great read and insight into his style of play but also his acknowledgement of what he’s learning and working on to improve.

Its an honest interview with the lad, and worth a read. From this, you can see he’s trying hard and that we should be supporting the likes of him, Miller and Victor etc.

Whilst only time will tell if they are good enough or have a bit of luck, if they keep working and trying to learn, we need to back them.

Trouble is we didn't have many major moments last night. I must admit I am really disappointed with Schmidt's contribution to the forward play as he seems to offer little. He is not big enough to worry tall half backs in the air, can't hold the ball up and bring others into play,he hasn't not got blistering pace to beat defenders, he hasn't got a powerful shot to score from outside the box and hasn't got the trickery to beat a defender who is marking him. One bloke posted he seem a nice bloke and he does, but that is not gonna score goals and win points. I am not judging him or any player on their personality but on what he brings to the team which is very little at the moment.
