Its not for schools to instill discipline into children. All these parents who think that the cane is a good idea no doubt think their little jonny is perfect, and if it was brought back and their child got a crack they would be first into schools attacking staff. The problem with our particular society boils down to a lack of personal responsibility and a borderline psychotic belief in the idea that there are no objective moral boundaries, as soon as we concided that whatever works for you is ok and who is anyone to tell you how to live your life?? then we screwed the idea of society and being part of a greater, whole .
