No chance of wilder for a start we can't afford him and west brom said no because he wanted total control of signings so no chance he will ever be here.
I've been getting fed up with the wild criticism of the new manager but I don't think this is an unreasonable approach. The comment about absence of loyalty from managers in general is fair. I think I'd be looking for us to be ten points ish clear of relegation and having seen development in the players. That would put in a good place to kick on for the 2nd half of the season. I'm not a fan of going back to playing out from the back though;
Not good enough, the players look lost under him. Whether its the tactics or motivation I have no idea but something is lacking.
Wild criticism? People are just saying what they see footballs been awful all season. And today was really something else worse performance since wilsons 2nd spell where he took us to donny rovers for a draw had 0 shots and got beat 1 nil.
For me there are some very winnable games coming up blackburn and blackpool lets see how we fare v them and assess after. Disapointing points and results wise so far we look like relegation certs at minute.
It might just be me but I'm more inclined to think last season was just a freak season where we over achieved massively. Also we haven't even got to double figures in games. It's a long old season and most of the league have budgets well beyond our means.
You didn’t go to Preston under Stendel or witness that home performance against Cardiff under Struber then? Against those teams we didn’t have the excuse of how good they could be on their day or that they’re favourites to win the league.
1st half against Luton this season? And yes Preston away under stendel and hone under struber were mind numbing performances
I know we were poor against Luton but it was hardly up there with the worst performances of all time. Early goals change games but we weren’t abysmal. The games I mentioned were worse than today in my opinion - but I’m an armchair supporter today so can’t comment too much.
I’d rather hope that we get our first team players fit and the majority of games are more like QPR and less like Bournemouth.
Struber also came at a time we were well adrift. Wasn’t our form under him in 19/20 comfortable mid table form? the same odour that played most of his football as an attacking midfielder up until signing for us, and successive coaches chose not to pick at left back?
Still early days, but looks worrying. With the consensus though. If we’re looking like bottom 6 by January, he has to go. It works both ways.
If we're gunna sack him the October international break is the time. If it's going down the pan the longer you wait the worse it is.
