Sounds like the meteoric rise of Simon Davey! On second thoughts give it to Martin Devaney!

I'm bored with this obsession with Austrian/German coaches now and links to Red Bull.

Give over, he'd give oduor the goalkeeper shirt and put out 5 red shirts 3 green and 2 white along with odd socks all round.

    My gut feeling says .
We've lost the dressing room, which is worrying.
Fair play to them that paid to watch that.
It was poor against a poor side..
When we makeMadine look good that's got to be worrying.

We can talk about the players we dont have as much as we want. What now counts is the players we have. Most of this team were involved last season. Given we have replaced Mowatt and Dike it is possible to compare formations, tactics and execution. I believe it will still take time for any manager, i also have expectations of finishing well below last season so aint expecting exceptional season. We haven't seen a settled side yet, but thats not all down to absentees. We seem to have players in then out, im not sure what our game plan is. Is it sit back, slow the game down and play in front of the defence sideways - then we are executing well. Im patient, but haven't been encouraged by the tactics and approach so far.

I've seen enough, I'm not one to overreact with managers but I've got a sinking feeling with him. He's not adapting to Championship football and seems unwilling to change. I know we've got injuries but we've not shown anything.
Highlight if his tenure so far for me was the Stoke dust up. Hardly anything to write home about.

As I posted elsewhere, we are the second lowest scorers in the division, so let's not utilize any of the new strikers, but bring on someone* who hasn't scored up front this season.

    * To be fair to Oduor, he looked good on the ball when he came on, but he is not a striker. Maybe try him in midfield to link up play,

I reckon Oduor could be a great player in the hole playing off a front 2. We need to play a 5-3-2, he could play the old Marcelle / Bullock role. Styles and Brittain as wing backs. You can rotate the strikers on a horses for courses basis. Reckon Freiser could also play in well in the number 10 role.
Gomes and whoever has the hot hand in midfield each game.
