Going to be very tough....a draw will be a very good result. Big ask with normal team out...so 2.0 Bolton. Hopefully we will play well and start getting it together...with the newbies to come.
6-2 Bolton Jordan Williams, diving header, 30-yard thunderb4st4rd then sent off for windmilling Reds fans
With Jalo out who’s gonna score a hatrick now? Think we’re heading for a 5-0 thumping this board explodes and melts everyone’s phones
An actual game - thank God - to get away from all the other stuff. And it's the most important one of the season by a country mile. I'd take a point if offered it now. A loss tomorrow and we're highly likely to be 11 points off the top two come 10pm Tuesday, thus rendering the toss-arguing over this window semi-superfluous as the damage was already done in the Summer. I keep flitting between a backs-to-the-wall, fighting, frantic 1-1 and a right old 4-0 shellacking with the former too much for my ticker and the latter resulting in a ruptured spleen. I'll go for the 4-0 Bolton on the basis that that almost certainly guarantees a 1-1. Interesting factoid - Josh Earl scored when he played there earlier in the season for Fleetwood. Sadly Vic had already got a hat-trick.
Beat them comfortably in the playoffs last season so a brilliant opportunity for Collins to build on that, hopefully a 2-1 win.
Routine? We have a great away record this season... having said that I predict a 2-1 defeat victor scoring a late winner.
Feel that Kane won’t be fit for this one so fear the worst. Russell is no replacement for him so I reckon a 0-2 defeat. Fingers crossed I’m miles out….I often am.
I tagged you other day in a old post where you claimed watters would score more than Cole... explain that one.
Connell back and the addition of Earl gives me quiet hope. Tbh I'd be happy with a draw there but after Exeter we ned to take no prisoners. Sttong lineup with Cole and McAtee up front and no p1ssing about. Just do the business Reds and get it over the line
Not confident on this one at all. At best 1-1, If we play like we did first half last week it’ll be game over by half-time but I think we’ll see a vast improvement on that. Head tells me 2-1 Bolton, Bolton will go 2 0 up, then we’ll rally and pull a late goal back to give them itchy bum time.
Hoping for a Peterborough performance not an Exeter.. Could win lose or draw this one so depends on which Barnsley team turns up..
3-0 down at half-time due to ponsing about, ball-watching and not tracking back. Rocket up bottoms for second half results in a goal but its too little too late. 3-1 Bolton. Collins out, sack the board, crap transfer window, wtf was Watters doing, can't string passes together, Williams is NOT a centre half, Earl looked lost.
