I've been to Derby 7 times and seen us lose 6, with the sole draw being the first time I went in 2011. The one time we've won in that time was during bloody Covid (see also: QPR, 2 wins since 1950 - both during Covid)! We're well overdue a win at Pride Park (with people in attendance at least) and couldn't really be in better form away from Oakwell, but I'm a superstitious bugger when it comes to bogey fixtures. 2-1 Derby. Still, as always with away games, it's all about the day out and Derby is easily one of my favourites - easy to get to, cheap pubs relative to most other places, tonnes of proper ale gaffs, nice riverside walk to the ground.
Our defence looks so dodgy at Oakwell that the total of only 3 goals conceded in 7 away games is surprisingly good, to say the least, and I fear that we are due perhaps to concede another three in just one game. We have scored in every away game too, so a 3-0 defeat would redress the balance on both counts. If we win, I shall be a little surprised and highly delighted.
Not confident about this one at all. Derby's midfield is their strength and ours will be depleted on Saturday. Kane might have his critics but we'll struggle to replace his work rate. We also never seem to turn up at Pride Park.
I can see it being a goalfest. 2-2. Great game by two sides who will be in and around the top six. Just hope our fans sing and back the XI. Every away game I’ve been to since COVID has been lacklustre in terms of atmosphere, give or take one or two. Especially the ones with the better away followings. Hourihane free kick first goal.
Can only see a poor result for the Reds, if we defend like we have done at Home,4-0 Derby Congratulations Archey
We always seem to do badly at Derby so going to plump for a Barnsley win 2-0. Only kidding think we will lose 3-1.
I can see a big response from the reds following the FA cup dismal display, reds showing some pride at pride Park. 2 -1 win to the reds Goals from Herbie and Cole.
Oddly, I think I've been 3 times and never seen us lose there, the 3-2 win in 2009, the goalless draw just before that, and one of the draws in the following year's (think it was the 1-1).
