Your right he does it was a horrible night and he played his part in getting 3 very Important points.
Barnsley 7 - 0 Exeter. People fawning over the record books to see if a team has done it twice in a year. Shaw (4) , Watters (3) Attendance: 12,499 Lotto: 4, 11, 14, 21, 27, 35. Bonus Ball 29 Weather: Cloudy with a chance of meatballs.
2-0 or 3-0 Reds. Quite like Exeter weirdly but think the gap in the table will tell considerably on Saturday.
They’re missing all their stars from last season. Jay Stansfield was the stand out performer and he’s now at Birmingham. I’d love to think that our defence will cope easily with these low scorers but….you never know. I still think we will win though and wouldn’t it be great to up the excitement levels from the first minute and really get us on our feet and smiling. 3-0 to the Reds.
I'd be more than happy if we win 1-0. Back in our promotion season of 1980/81, we beat Exeter 1-0 at their place (just like this season), with Glyn Riley scoring. In the return fixtue in April, we again won 1-0. This time Neil Cooper got the winner. A repeat of our 1-0 wins double, along with promotion, would be excellent.
The annoying thing is, I now feel obligated to put those lottery numbers on Saturday. I would advise you do too, because if I win the jackpot with your numbers I won't be sharing out of the goodness of my heart!
Other evening aside, we are usually good for a BTTS bet. I think 8 of our league wins have been by just one goal. I will say a 2-1 win.
