If we play on the front foot and Norwoods back I think we'll win 2-1

Not a lot of positivity on this thread, which is probably understandable after 2 poor defeats & a bit of a hard earned bore draw that we could have nicked at the end vs Bolton, never a happy hunting ground. I was gutted getting them again in the cup.

Not sure how tonight will pan out. We need to defend better than we did vs Exeter & Morcombe. Press from the front & let them make the mistakes up the pitch. If we do that I reckon we'll take it 1 or 2 nil. If we go behind, it could be another long night.

Just as I was a little apprehensive before the Morecambe match, as their dreadful home form and our excellent away form were both due to come to an end, so I am fairly confident that we'll win tonight, as we are due a home win and due to score a couple, after firing three successive blanks on the scoring front. Furthermore, surely Lincoln used up all their luck in their last away game, when they beat Ipswich 1-0 in a match in which Ipswich had an astonishing 33 shots to Lincoln's 5. I'll go for a 2-0 win to us, though without confidence re the exact score.
