Aren't these first round games usually poor affairs but the away side tends to win? I'll go for a 2-0 to Tranmere.
Can’t see us winning if we make several changes. I’m comfortable where we are at longer term but with injuries, illness and suspensions we are proper threadbare at the minute. I do think some players need to be wrapped up in cotton wool with another midweek fixture next week so all for a few changes. Sadly though I think the lack of experience will cost us a 1-0 defeat.
Absolutely no clue what team Tranmere are going to pick so I’ve no idea about how the game is likely to go - but I’m pretty confident we are playing reserves and kids. Good. A good cup run is nice but with our injuries, illnesses and suspension we don’t have the luxury to prioritise more than one thing. Give the kids and fringe players a run out and accept whatever result we get accordingly.
Several changes with a mix of youngsters and a few from Saturday May even see Cundy ( no idea if he’s fit), 2-0 with late goals, expecting Killip, Shepherd, Shaw, Dallas to feature
