0-1 to a shocking **** up, bizarre refereeing decision or a mini earthquake created by a mole 100 metres below the pitch. If we don't lose this, the fabric of time will implode and the world will end.
2-1 Wednesday. We play them into the ground but can't kill the game and they get two 30 yard screamers from players who haven't scored all season. I'm a right laugh at parties me.
I went with 4 or 5 nil against Wycombe and tbh I think it would have gone that way had it not been for Mowat being sent off - still think we are going to give someone a real hiding and I don't think losing Mowat will make any difference, for me just put Styles in who is two footed and therefore not compromised on passing moves going forward, then Williams into Styles position - leave the rest as is or maybe start big Mozza - if we score early their heads will drop and I think we will score plenty - 5-0 to the mighty reds if we score early or 3-0 if we don't
I reckon it will tell the Wednesday fans alot more about their future than ours, if they can't get up for this one they deserve to be relegated. I expect a tough hard fought 1-1 draw as derby games are all about fight not form.
Don't really see it as a derby with no fans there in all honesty. The full stadium and partisan chanting is what gees the players on to play out of their skins. We will anyway because it's what we do but as to our opposition? Playing like they're already down.
Isn't it written in recent law that all home games against Wednesday finish 1-1? Rhodes will score for them.
3-1 us. We’ll give them their customary goal early doors. It’ll knock us out of our stride until just before halt-time when we’ll equalise. We’ll get the second soon after half-time and a 3rd in the last 10 minutes.
Let's face it, this is now a derby in name only. Without fans in the ground and the usual dearth of local lads in either side, where's any element of rivalry?? There isn't one. Just another game and on that basis, a comfortable home win and a clean sheet. I'd love 3-0, but will settle on 2-0. Morris and Helik.
9-0 with a hat trick of hat tricks. Dike, Styles and Woodrow with 3 each. Despite the positive result, there'll be a tinge of disappointment as Woodrow's injury time penalty crashes off the post to deny us a new record victory. I'd take a scrappy 1-0 though.
