    Would be just like us to get battered on Saturday and the beat piggies on Tuesday. There is a feeling that we might be looking past Wycombe a little bit with one eye on Tuesday.

    Fear we're due a stinker and have half n eye on Tuesday night.
    Plus with beating Derby Pompey and Plymouth in resent weeks we may have the .. Billy big b0110x head on..
    Due a loss, Wycombe to ruff us up a bit and with an eye on Tuesday we don't want to know.

    Im hopeful for a win. Wycombe said to be missing 7 first teamers for tomorrow and their subs bench from Tuesday night made up of mainly 7 development squad players totalling less than 50 first team appearances between them.

    On that point, was it Bobby Horn ( or Martin New ) who scored from a goal kick on the plastic pitch at QPR ( or Palace ) in the early 80’s ?
    It bounced over their goalie’s head

    Funnily, this is the match - out of the next three - that I'm most worried about. Having said that, the team have proved recently that they're strong and resilient so I hoping for a wee 0-1 win though see it more as 1-1. Probably go under 2.5 goals for my Barnsley bet.

    Edit: Ended up going Barnsley double chance & under 4 goals at 10/11 which - fingers crossed - is a relatively risk free bet o_O
