Wycombe let Reading get their first away win in a year on Saturday. 2-0 Reds.

Our league position is spot on..bottom of the top teams... So owt could happen.
I hope for Collins sake it's a win.. but as we all know, the first goal is key.. and while ever we f'k about at the back and give silly pens away it's always going to be a struggle.
    If we conseed first 1-1..
But hopefully we score first and come out with a. 2-1 us.. because I still cannot see us not conseeding.

I suspect it's a bad sign for my current level of BFC engagement that this thread reminded me that we have a home game tomorrow.

I think we will just edge it.
When we played Shrewsbury, recently I thought they would bully us.
Hopefully that was a turning point and we won't be old manned and bullied by them like last year.

They've had a bucket load of injuries and I don't think we'll see Jason McCarthy or Sam Vokes, amongst others, as a result and possibly not seasoned wind-up merchant Joe Jacobsen either as he was also missing on Saturday. However, they will still be able to field plenty of battle-hardened veterans what with Richard Keogh, Taffazolli, Scowen, Wheeler, McCleary and recently signed pain-in-the-backside Lyle Taylor. They also have five young loanees from Premier League clubs including Barnsley born left back Harry Boyes who played against us for Lincoln last season.

I'd actually blow-up (metaphorically) the defence and drop De Givigney and McCarthorse but I realise that there's not much alternative in the wings for Collins to play wtih. Wycombe will likely play one up front and so above all I don't want to see three centre backs plus a deep-lying midfield player holding their hands as has become the Collins way. If he uses the formation that turned the scoresheet round at Lincoln and we can match them in the trenches without losing another early goal I'll go for a 2-1 win with Cole notching and Cosgrove getting his first Reds' goal.

It's going to be freezing and an utterly dismal 0-0, I can just feel it.
