They are both commercial premises that want to attract people through the doors so a lot nearer than you replacing lightbulbs in your rental house.
Or you could just remind them to your rights as a tenant to the peaceful enjoyment of your home if you dont want spotlights installed.
I've got to admit, I'd like to have known how long there was left when I left. That said, it's easy to find out after the fact as it was when their third went in. EDIT: I very rarely leave early. I've paid for that misery so I'm getting my moneys worth.
Money for electronic advertising hoardings but not for something that enhances the match day experience of the fans. Many smaller clubs have more professional looking screens than we have ever had.
Tbf, no one has a clue how much the hoardings are costing, or how much the scoreboard will cost to fix. Or even what’s broken.
If I owned the club but not the ground I'd take the view that the scoreboard isn't my problem, and would hopefully point to some clause in the contract which states that the ground will be kept in an acceptable working order and withhold some casheesh until it was fixed.
Didn’t say they would. But wouldn’t bother me too much either way. Do like to see a countdown/timer clock though.
Who got the advertising revenue from the electronic adverts? Surely the same party is due to look after the score board and claim the profits from that too.
No point worrying about what’s on the pitch the board have been more than clear that the plan is the plan.
I cannot believe that we have people getting out of bed over a poxy scoreboard , a scoreboard that only 60 % of the fans can see when its working anyway , I would take the thing out all together then at least it would one thing off the list of people"s complaints . Talking about complaints , I"ve got one , my magnificent view from the superb west stand was spoiled by rotating fluorescent advertising boards , thought I was going to end up having a fit , all the time I was trying to watch a classic reds performance I had to put up with the rotating disco , its all right for fans in the East stand they get the picturesque West stand as a view but us poor souls had that to put up with , they have got to go !!!
On the flip side if i was renting a house and the TV broke I wouldn't expect the landlord to buy me a new one. Also they can gladly buy the land for the price they agreed when they claimed ownership of the club can they not?
