    Gainsborough have now released a statement saying they haven't given the go ahead for Scunny to move to their ground and there are several health and safety certificates that aren't currently held by them that would allow Scunthorpe to play there.

    This is a mess.

    Gainsborough released a statement saying they are aware of Scunthorpe's statement regarding groundshare but no talks have taken place with them or the local SAG and police

    A convicted fraudster who was allowed to take over because his fraud convictions were spent, apparently. I’ll be looking forward to Great Ormond Street appointing Gary Glitter to their board once his conviction is spent! Once again, a smaller club goes to the wall whilst the FA and Football League walk away whistling, saying “nothing to do with me guv”. The amount of money pumped into English football, the amount of money pumped into the pay packets of Premier League footballers, but not a penny to help Bury or Scunthorpe.

    Gary Lineker did a podcast on this subject about how in this day and age with the amount of money available in football that a club like Southend was allowed and repeatedly allowed to be in a shambles.

    I honestly wouldn’t know what I would do without having a team like barnsley to support

    They spoil many of my weekends but couldn’t imagine losing them due to a terrible owner

    Feel so sorry for the scunny fans I’ve had many good away days at glanford park

    they should just start a phoenix club now?

    They are sixth tier and this turmoil could plummet them into the seventh

    A new club in the tenth tier with 3,000-5,000 fans would fly up into the national league north wouldn't it?
