I'm enjoying every minute of it, even in a perverse way seeing us play good and lose.BETTER THAN L1

    None of the above ...

I expected the season to be a struggle, so it's living up to expectations.

That doesn't imply that we're "Happy as larry" as you'd put it, merely that we're a little more realistic.

Shipperley's wages were apparantly going to be paid by

PC, so not a fair comparison

    None of those options

    My main sentiments are:

I've enjoyed most home games as they've been quite entertaining.

I'm unsurprised by league position as it's been clear throughout the season and in pre-season that we've not got a squad large enough to survive, and unfortunately that is only going to get more pronounced in the winter months as injuries and suspensions begin to kick in.

I'm not that bothered about the welfare of Barnsley Football Club anymore. It's well down my list of priorities - enthusiasm gone, I'm afraid.

    Fair point...

But still no reason to sign him - he wasn't that prolific when he played for us and that was five years ago.

I agree with a lot of the people on here who say he isn't any better than the strikers we've got.

He might be better than what we have...

but I fully support the manager in deciding that he does not want him. I'd rather ask why we have failed to sign five targets of AR's this season so far

I think that is the more pertinent point, definitely...

I appreciate we don't have the league's greatest resources but target after target just seemed to disappear off the radar - worrying...
