As I understand it will be in the same area with a revamped concourse.

I don't know why you can't make a commitment to renew and pay a deposit and then pay over the summer. It doesn't affect me I will sort mine out early but if you're hard pressed seems a better option than paying Zebra Finances 'administration fee'.

Good company Zebra finance. The parameters of the loan are very clear, no grey areas. It's all black and white.

If you count the admin fee for what it is interest it equates to about 13% I think over 10 months which is reasonable as these things go.

They'll be playing second tier football though, with lots of talented footballers to watch and the dream of promotion. Plus, they're next to the nations capital. Big difference economically.

I'm not referring to myself, because I was never buying a ST. I'm just playing devils advocate.

But many people in Tarn who support the club and want to attend Oakwell are struggling in these tough economic times. I'm not sure of your circumstances, Phil, but one can only assume you're well off or earning good money. But not everyone is in your boat. Think of the parents of a couple of a children whose birthdays fall in March/April/June. They'll be struggling like buggery to find £300+.

This early bird scheme (that Don introduced originally, despite Mansford saying otherwise) is all well and good (for a lot of people) but I think the end of May for the cut off point would have been more reasonable. I also don't buy the suggestion that the earliness of it is merely to recruit better players etc. I think that's absolute tosh and I'm surprised so many on here are ignoring so many facets of todays announcement.

The Don will be shaking his head at the hypocrisy.

I recall Ben telling us he'd got loads of new ideas for tickets etc, but that he had to go along with Don's plans for this season. Well, for Ben's plans next season read Don's for previous seasons. Same old.

    Footballs expensive Whitey.

I saved during the season, was expecting 350 for esl. Just saying the options and what others are doing.

I believe Rotherham charged a min of 350 for the current season

Wouldn't it be more appropriate to compare us Blackpool as they are in the same division and operate like us at a profit. Cheapest ticket £199.

Even if you renew in April you can spread the cost over 3 months? If so, that's a great move by the club.

I'm with you about folk moaning, I think some will look for any excuse to justify not going

As you are presumably aware the parachute payments have not been included within the day to day budgeting of Blackpool.

I think our season tickets are ok price wise not great not terrible. I will have one as ever

I do not think they are priced at a level that will attract new fans in an area of socio economic deprivation. Pricing is definitely one of the reasons for our dwindling crowds in the championship. This needs to be addressed somehow. As do the ridiculous prices for pay on the day supporters which again discourage people.

On another thread someone put forward some very innovative ideas on pricing that whilst may not be workable in their proposed form offer a different cost structuring and summat to think about.
