Season Ticket prices are out. Adult tickets from as little as 300 pound

It's overly expensive. They take advantage of our loyalty/love.

Rotherham can charge what they want, it's of no coincidence to me. I'm only interested in what BFC are charging. As I'm a POTD supporter, I'd have hoped for the club to release matchday prices today as well. But going on their statement, it seems that unless you're a ST holder you're not doing your bit for the club. Which is ********.

Great idea but I bet few even took it up / knew about it.

I didn't know they did that.

Even if you renew in April you can spread the cost over 3 months? If so, that's a great move by the club

There's only me in this thread moaning isn't there, and I'll be at every home game next season that I can possibly make, and at an extra £10 dearer than ST holders. So I've nothing of the sort to justify. I'm merely putting over the opposite arguments to stir debate. I could perhaps bump last seasons threads when The Don's ST pricing plans were announced. Very different reaction to very much the same thing.

These things were in place when Don was in charge.

Hmm... MAYBE! Last year we had two prices one for existing season ticket holders and one for new. (Was this the early bird I cant remember?)

Anyway the price after April is last years New price. 10% discount if you go pay in April. Think its a good offer myself.

    Last years prices:

So they've increased, unless you get one in April, yes?

Also, there was uproar on here one Summer under Don over the early bird scheme. Yet Ben is suggesting he's introduced it..?

A 23% price hike is a real punishment for renewing three months after the club want you to.

THere's been a saving stamp scheme to do this for a few years. In fact it operates the year round. Someone's mentioned that they have been using it in this thread (with a photo of the book I think)

I'm not digging at people on here, I'm talking about the numpties on Facebook, I know people who moan about the cost of tickets as justification for not going but then when you offer to get them half price tickets like the Bournemouth game I get 'it's not even worth that to watch that *****'.

I think most folk on here will go as long as they can afford / make it regardless.

Aye. It's just a £40 increase if you get one after July the 1st.

I'm just surprised is all. I expected a price cut full stop.

I think our supporters deserve that.

As for you knowing these figures for ages, when are they releasing the POTD prices and will they be staying at £23?

I don't read the comments on the BFC facebook pages. Your description of them is bang on.

I see that is never heard of it to be honest probably like most folks. Again wouldn't it more straightforward in terms of economic planning for the club to take a deposit let's say one third then accept the rest over the summer. Back in the day you could do that and when I was skint I did.

Sensible thing would have been £300 for the early bird offer, and this season's price thereafter.

Paying up to £35 more for a lower level of football is very poor in my eyes.

Not having a go Whitey, but just out of interest, why do you not choose to buy a season ticket and have the potential benefits for cup games, and just not use it/lend it out for the games you don't go to?

BM: Would you like to renew, Mr Kaht?
OK: Can you tell me which league we will be in, Mr Mansford?
    BM: No Mr Kaht.
OK: Will it be cheaper if we are in League One?
    BM: No Mr Kaht.
OK: Can you tell me who will be Manager, Mr Mansford?
    BM: No, Mr Kaht.
OK: Will it be cheaper if it's a numpty like Mr Hill, Mr Mansford?
    BM: No, Mr Kaht.
OK: Do you think it would be wise for me to renew now with these questions unanswered, Mr Mansford?
BM: The SRA Code of Conduct prevents me from giving you that advice, Mr Kaht.
OK: Could I have the option to renew at the 'early bird' price when these things are known, Mr Mansford?
BM: No, Mr Kaht - you'll have to trust us that Danny will still be here.
OK: Just like in 1998, Mr Mansford?
    BM: Yes, Mr Kaht.
    OK: OK.

I'd like to be as positive as the majority, but it's a fact that people like to wait into the summer to see how the squad's shaping up in terms of signings etc before committing to a ST!! Just remember how many people on here said 'That's me off to get a ST' when news of Cranie/O'Grady/Jennings signing contracts came through.

Hope therefore that the price hike doesn't put these people off. On the whole though, the prices are very reasonable, whatever level we will be playing at.

It is £300 on the early offer and more after. Or am I missing your point?
